Billing Export Setup Available in v1.20.0+
Check Existing Billing Export
In order to check if you already have a billing export configured, you need to navigate to the Google Cloud Billing Export console .
Look for any existing Detailed usage cost exports in your billing exports list.

If you see an active detailed usage cost export configured to a BigQuery dataset:
- Record your dataset information - Make note of the Project ID and dataset name where the export is configured
- Continue with the setup - Proceed to the overview page to begin ScaleOps integration
Billing Export Setup
If you don’t have an existing detailed usage cost export, follow these steps:

Configure BigQuery Dataset
- Navigate to the BigQuery console
- Click on Create Dataset
- Enter a name for your dataset and click Create Dataset
- Note your Project ID and dataset name for the next step

Create the Export
- Navigate to the Google Cloud Billing Export
- Click “Edit Setting”
- Under Projects add the project id of the project from step 1
- Under Datasets add the dataset name from step 1
- Click Save

Record your dataset information (Project ID and dataset name) for ScaleOps integration.
What is Detailed Usage Cost? This export type provides the granular cost data needed by ScaleOps, including individual resource costs, applied discounts (CUDs, Sustained Use, Spot), usage quantities, pricing details, and resource metadata.
Once your billing export is configured and active, proceed to the overview page to begin ScaleOps integration.
